The project ENABLE (Stimulate Sustainable Freight Transport between Latin America & Europe) was launched on the 1st of September 2009 in the framework of the 7th Framework Program of the European Union. The main goal of the project was to boost the external relations between the EU and Latin American countries, focusing on the sector of co-modal and intermodal freight transport.
During the two-year course of the project, partners form both Europe and Latin America, with a expertise and long experience on intermodal freight transport and logistics, cooperated in the exchange of knowledge (primarily best practices) and the organization of various activities that brought together stakeholders of the freight transport community of both continents, especially from Latin America.
The whole work that was carried out within the project’s activities is thoroughly presented in the current website through various project products, which can be found following the tab "Outcomes".
